Since someone reblogged it again today, I just wanted to bring it up again and talk a bit about it:

A year ago I said to bloodyspook “Hey, it would be fun to cosplay Spy and Engineer together, we could take photos and stuff together etc.”.

A year later it’s still not 100% finished, there still need to be a few things improved and made.
I actually went through a lot of “I hate this cosplay” times, and sometimes I still just want to burn it down.

However, after darl’ got great comments because of her BLU Spy cosplay I was very nervous to show of mine, since Engie is…not a suit wearing Gentleman, and because I’m very uneasy about this whole cosplay internet stuff + usually darl’ is the one who gets all the attention, I’m more of a background person.

I still remember how shocked we both were when I uploaded this picture on tumblr and the notes just kept getting higher and higher.
The same happened on devart later + I got reposted on kotaku.com.
The cosplay might look simple, but it still was quite a trip to hell and back to finish it and let it look the way I wanted to.

I just wanted to say thank you for that.
It’s great to see so much positive feedback and that whole thing helped me a lot about feeling more confident etc.
I’m already looking forward to more shootings with darl’ as BLU Spy, and also Löffel and Lysa as Scout and Soldier.
